Our association has always prided itself on the proportion of members who vote in board elections. Last year, for example, over 75% of you cast ballots for candidates for the board of directors, and we hope to better that percentage this year.
Some of you have expressed concern that you could not make an informed choice on the basis of the information we have provided in the past. As a result, we have expanded our biographical coverage of each candidate in the enclosed election kit. We hope that this additional information will enable you to cast your vote with more confidence.
The nominating committee selected the nine candidates from names recommended by the membership. Please vote for three (and only three) of the candidates by marking the attached ballot and returning it in the enclosed envelope.
